Lisa ran the dying project with the abaca and
cotton linters. She would dip the fiber into a dye pot momentarily then place it in a
container and separate the wads as much as possible. Exposure to the air darkened the
pulp. Show here throughout the day she received help from Julie, Ben, Kristy, and Cris

After a long, cold day processing pulps, it
was a welcome relief to trundle upstairs into the warmth of the studio. Paul took over the
wood stove and got a wonderful fire roaring to keep us all toasty. Jan leisurely browsed
through all the books, Kathy and Liz visited and browsed, Ronetta started carving her
