Persia
Persia was born in 1989 at a friend's home. She was half feral, mostly an outside cat when we fell in love with her and, at our friend's insistence, brought her home. At that time we already had Baby and Tiger. She was a little spitfire and is our best mouser. We took her to the vet and got a clean bill of health, declawed and spayed her and settled down to make her a contented indoor cat. We succeeded. She is our schizo-cat as she can be sweet one moment and, in the blink of an eye, a brass-plated witch. She is the prettiest and most photogenic of our cats.
Persia truly loved our old english sheepdog, Lilly, and would sleep curled up against Lilly's tummy. They would groom each other (quite a sight to see an OES spoojing a cat!) and chase each other throughout the house. Being an intelligent, thinking cat, Persia would devise myriad ways to flummox Lilly with great success and much to our delight.
