This is growing from below the plank to the Klamath Wildlife Preserve on the other side of the tracks off Highway 97.

I'd lay odds this little lovely is a cress of some kind. I also found it scattered around in Farmer Phil's ditch.

This one has to be pretty tall because there's about a foot of water and then a foot of clearance to the walkway.

The plants in Farmer Phil's ditch ranged from 4-9 inches. Alkaline, wet to moist soils.
