These pictures were taken on the corner of Ben Gay and Russell Roads August 14.

Being a knapweed and cousin to thistle, these little beauties make terrific paper. My lucky day this is a noxious weed!

Found this little thing in Farmer Phil's ditch. Only three inches tall, but it does grow taller. Seems the cows like it.

While a crop weed and irradication is encouraged, there were not enough of these to even do a fiber test on for paper..
