 This picture and the next were taken September 5. This is a very dry location behind the 76 Station on East Main with no water nearby. |
 I snapped and peeled the main stem on one of the plants and it definitely looks like good fiber for papermaking. Definitely need a beater or stamper as it is very woody. |
I also took a close look at the seed pods that had already dispersed the seed. They are woody also and would make lovely inclusions. |
