It grows, from what I can tell, all over the area in
our box canyon. |

I busted the stalk of the skeleton open to see if it might make good fiber. The
overwintered plant appears woody, but might be a good candidate. |
I think the summer stalk, after bolting but before and, maybe, during flowering,
may also be a good paper candidate. |
