 It greens up starting in mid-February and goes to seed around mid-March. |

 The first few days of warm weather around here hit around mid-March. |
 This is the Star moss just one week after the seed pods appeared!! Photographed April 8. |
 Once the rain stops or it warms up to the 60s fahrenheidt during the day, this moss doesn't waste time drying up. |
 April 18, one week the temperatures have dropped and it's been snowing for seven days! This moss definitely likes it cold and wet! |
