crone13.jpg (8579 bytes) Sculpting A Crone
by Marj Franke

Part 2

crone01.jpg (4140 bytes) Start with a plastic egg and a thin sheet of flesh colored Super Sculpey. You may put messages of intention, prayers or seed inside the egg. Wrap and smooth the Sculpey around the egg. The Sculpey should not be too thin or, as it bakes it may not hold its shape. The plastic egg may melt inside.
crone02.jpg (5014 bytes) Form legs and a belly and sit the wide end of the egg on the legs. The legs are formed only to the knee at this time.
crone03.jpg (7174 bytes) Breasts and arms are next. Rememnber to let the breast flesh flow into the underarm area. I also added an additional roll of flesh on the belly and don't forget the belly button.
crone04.jpg (6825 bytes) Feet and lower legs can be added when you have the log or rock your completed crone will be sitting on.
